Michael Whitney Black, age 65, of Van Buren Township, Michigan passed away February 21, 2013 at his home. He was born September 12, 1947 in Ypsilanti, MI, son of the late Russell and Margaret (Bangay) Black.

Michael is survived by his wife, Dale Elizabeth (Spessard) Black, 2 sons; Michael and Russell Black and 4 step-daughters; Cindy (Dave) Spessard, Lisa (John) Wysocki, Jennifer(Jeff) Burden Earlene (Randy) Burden and 11 grandchildren. Also, 2 brothers, James Black, David of Australia, and 4 sisters, Colleen, Sandra, Bonnie and Barbara. .

A memorial service will be held at David C. Brown Viewing Chapel, 500 E. Huron River Drive, Belleville, MI, on Saturday, March 2, 2013. Visitation will be from noon to 1 PM, immediately followed by a Veteran's memorial service at 1 PM.
