Mary is available with a compassionate and understanding heart, to listen and guide you and your family through your journey of grief.
All bereaved family members as well as friends are encouraged to receive our free individual support or attend a support group.
We also have informational handouts, booklets and brochures available to the public.

Thunder Rolls in Belleville -- 2:00 p.m.
On Monday, May 27, 2013 the Brown Funeral Home and Brown Family Center will sponsor our 9th annual “Thunder Rolls in Belleville.”
This Memorial Day is a special tribute to honor all veterans, especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, giving their lives to protect our nation.
The ceremony is preceded by a police escorted motorcycle ride through parts of Van Buren Township and then into Belleville. Participants in the ride register and line up for the ride starting at 11 am in Wayne County Community College Western Campus’ front parking lot located just north of the Haggerty Road/Interstate 94 intersection, on Haggerty Road in Belleville (9555 Haggerty). More than 200 bikers are expected this year with the number increasing every year. We have all makes of bikes with many of them veterans proudly flying our American Flag. It is quite a sight to see. We even post the map of the ride in the local newspapers and have many who stand along the route waving their flags.
The bikers will make their way to the Belleville Veteran’s Memorial in Horizon Park, located off Belleville Lake on High Street, east of Main Street. The estimated arrival time is between 2 and 2:30 pm.
There will be a special memorial service once all are assembled. We will honor local veterans who have died in the past year by announcing their name in a bell-ringing ceremony. Call us if you have a loved one you want announced. The ceremony itself will be approximately one hour.
There is a $10 fee for riders and all riders are welcome. A pin will be given to all paying riders. The money will benefit veterans and their families.
